These shoes offer great cushion ( I love Hokas for the cushion but these are very similar in that area ) as well at remarkable, long lasting tread ! I used the have Solomons and the tread disappeared so quickly! Not these - plenty of tread almost a year laterI also love the way the sides of the shoe sort of fold over each other at the top. It keeps them from slipping and collecting little bits of sand and gravelThese are great shoes for obstacle course racing. Love love love!
