I have not yet tried on the tights so I don't know how they fit or if they stay up or any of those other important details but the color is NOT the Deep Evergreen color I ordered. It is more of a dark cool grey color, not quite black and definitely not the color depicted in the photo.I am updating to say that it turns out I actually really like the color and the quality is okay, so far after 3 wearings (no washing yet). I have never had real Spanx so I can't compare to that but I have had the Target knock-off of Spanx and these are not as thick and smaller than the same (medium) size of the Target brand, but they fit me well (I am 5'2.5 and weigh about 138) The lycra or whatever so far seems to be good quality and the waistband is not too tight. Very comfortable actually. I plan to order another pair and see what color they send next time.Ok, so I bought a size B because they were spanx and i figured they would be a little tight and I didn't want a muffin top. But I was wrong. Get your size. They were too big. So I gave them to my sister and got a size A. She also loves them. Mine fit perfectly and I'm a size 4. And they are literally the best tights I have ever had. I've had mine about 2 years and still no runs. Unlike every other pair of tights I have. but they really do make you look great and they're not too tight or uncomfortable. Mine do fold over a tiny bit after wearing them all day, but they don't create a muffin top, so that's what's important. And they are a little loose around the ankles, but I think that's because I'm short and I have tiny baby ankles and all tights are too loose on the ankles.I really love Spanx. I love how I feel in them. But they do seem to run large. I'm 5'11" and weigh about 128, so size B should have fit me just fine. After a couple of wearings, however, they seemed to stretch out. I gave them to a friend and ordered Size A, which is a much better fit for me.The tights came in the original packaging and covered with a sealed wrapper. As soon as I opened them, there was a strong smell of mold, which is unusual. I have bought many pairs of Spanx tights and none have had a bad smell. I washed them and they still smelled. I hung them out in the sun for a day and they still smell of mold. I'd return them except I took the packaging off and it would cost a lot to mail them back. I doubt that I will wear them, which is disappointing.These things are so durable, They don't get holes or runs at all; however, they get stretched out really bad - like, they turn into some weird discolored galaxy looking print after maybe 15 wears (and I am in my correct size range). At first I thought this was happening because I put them in the washer, but when I bought new ones and made sure to carefully hand wash all of them....the same thing happened! I have worn these everyday for the past two years, but it seems like the quality is going down, or, just...something is off and I did not notice how bad it was until recently.I won't be buying these again. The quality is nice and they look good, but they have 2 major issues. First, if your thighs touch at all when you walk (which they probably do because if you have thigh gap, you probably aren't wearing Spanx), they make a weird noise when the fabric brushes up against itself - almost like the sound corduroy pants make when you walk. Second, the waist rolls down - and I am not talking about a little bit - there is some serious rolling going on. As I sat at my desk, I realized that my tights had rolled down below my hip bone. Seriously? The waist started an inch or 2 above my belly button, but started rolling and just kept going. The roll is large enough to see through my dress. Very attractive.I love these tights. I love these tights. Can you tell I love these tights? They're a really deep black, and they are thick so they don't run, and they give your legs a good shape. They are not lined, but they are warm. They look fantastic. Without these I might never wear a skirt to work in cold weather, but with these I'm still able to look professional.Good deep black color, which I wanted. I got size A and found it a little less snug (and therefore less body-controlling) than I really would have liked. But then again, I'm 5'2" and weigh 95 pounds, so I realize that I'm at the smallest end of the SPANX sizing chart.Love it!!!
