I am thrilled with these boots. These are the first boots I've ever found that fit my 18" calves (I ordered the 9 1/2 extra wide). I'll probably wear them mostly with tights and skirts or dresses, but they're even loose enough to wear with socks. I've walked around my house in these a bit, and they seem very comfortable so far. Next time I need a pair of boots, I will check into Ros Hommerson boots first. The leather looks very nice, and I'm so glad that the buckle is silver instead of gold or bronze.Update March 1, 2012: I wore these boots all winter, and they are so comfortable. Everywhere I go, people compliment me on these boots. They are really well-made, and I'm sure they will last for many years.
