Call me Goldielocks because the ring wasn't too big or too small in the style.... it was just right.... rather perfect for me. The size was just perfect too... 5.5... not too big and not too small ... just perfect. Yeah, I'm exceedingly happy with this choice. Not a plainJane ring nor gaudy... just simple with a hint of flare!!!I ordered this ring for my mother after she said she always wanted a birthstone ring. She didn't know her ring size so I guessed. I ordered a 6.75 and when the ring arrived, it looked awfully small. However, the description of the ring says it can be resized. So I thought I would give it to Mom and if it was too small, I would take it to a local jeweler. Mom couldn't get the ring over her second knuckle so I took it to a jewelry store on the day after Christmas. I was advised to return the ring as there were just too many problems with it. First of all, the stone is not a ruby as claimed; their best guess was a tourmaline. Secondly there were cracks in the stone which might cause it to shatter if they attempted to make the ring bigger. Thirdly, the actual ring size was 6.25; not 6.75.The ring was delivered days before promised. She loved it. It looks beautiful . Thank you
